Carnival Cruise Line replaces cancelled voyages with invite-only sailings

Replacement sailings have been announced for 11 cruises that were controversially cancelled last month by Carnival Cruise Line, but the new routes are invite-only.
Carnival Cruise Line disappointed passengers by cancelling 11 voyages scheduled to depart aboard Carnival Firenze in October and November.
This was attributed to changes in itinerary plans and guests were offered the chance to rebook or accept a refund.
Some of the dates have now been replaced with four new itineraries under Carnival Cruise Line’s Sailings Exclusively for Adults (SEA) programme.
The SEA programme offers discounts on adult-only sailings in the Caribbean to select passengers who are part of its loyalty scheme or those who have built up large casino credits.
A spokesperson for Carnival Cruise Line said: "Carnival will be offering four new sailings for Carnival Firenze from Long Beach between 12 October and 20 November 2026.
“These sailings are part of our (SEA) program and will be available only to guests who receive a targeted offer. The sailings feature a mix of Mexican Riviera destinations.”
With capacity for 4,161 guests, Carnival Firenze is designed with Italian flair.
Guests embark through Piazza Duomo, named after Florence's domed cathedral, and can enjoy Italian food and cocktails at the Michelangelo and Medici Restaurants, as well as Italian street food at La Strada Grill.
More adventurous passengers can also have fun on the waterslides or climb the high ropes course before relaxing on the sundeck.
The SEA cruises were first launched in August and September 2025, exclusively for guests aged 21 and over.
Carnival Cruise Line describes the sailings as having “every detail tailored to people who love big wins, big fun, and a splash of indulgence”.
It adds: "SEA Cruises are invite-only sailings that feature exciting itineraries, more casino access and themed parties plus onboard experiences that are anything but ordinary.
