My joy is like spring, so warm it makes flowers bloom all over the earth.
Thich Nhat Hanh from his poem “Call Me by my True Names“From 3 to 10 April, 2026, French-speaking practitioners gathered from around the world to join this precious retreat in New Hamlet of Plum Village, France.
It was a beautiful week of coming home to our breath—to be truly present for ourselves, each other, and the miracle of life. Collectively, we generated the energy of mindfulness as we practiced sitting and walking meditation, listening deeply and sharing from the heart in Dharma sharing, mindful eating in families, relaxing the body and mind in total relaxation, and joyfully serving during mindful service.
We were blessed with glorious spring weather, nourished by the beauty of Mother Earth, and supported by a beloved community of spiritual friends.
This week was a true celebration as we were able to celebrate Sister Chan Khong’s continuation day together, as well as observe Easter—especially meaningful for those who hold “double-belonging” of spiritual traditions and faiths.
We invite you to enjoy these special moments captured in photos—glimpses of peace, joy, connection, and compassion blooming in our hearts.
