Headline act revealed for Nashville Nights country music cruise
Passengers should pack their denim and diamonds for the exclusive adults-only sailing
Actor and musician Sam Palladio has been revealed as the headline act for travel agent cruise.co.uk's country music cruise.
The star rose to fame portraying country songwriter Gunnar Scott on ABC’s TV show Nashville and most recently appeared in the Bob Marley: One Love biopic and the series The Couple Next Door.
Guests can watch him perform aboard Ambassador Cruise Line’s Ambience cruise ship during the “Nashville Nights No-Fly Authentic Country Music Cruise”.
Departing from London Tilbury in Essex on 25 March 2027, the four-night cruise will host a number of themed events including country music quizzes, silent discos and fitness sessions as well as line dancing classes and open mic sessions for aspiring singer-songwriters.
Tribute acts to Johnny Cash, Shania Twain, Lainey Wilson and Luke Combs will perform, alongside bands including The Charmed and Britt & The Backbeat. Meanwhile, the traditional cruise formal night will be replaced by a “Denim & Diamonds” evening.
Tony Andrews, managing director of cruise.co.uk, said: “Sam Palladio’s authentic connection to country music, combined with his experience on Nashville and his growing recording career, brings genuine star power to the ‘Nashville Nights’ experience. Guests won’t just be watching performances; they’ll be immersed in the spirit of Nashville itself.
“His presence perfectly complements the lineup of live music, themed events and experiences, creating a vibrant atmosphere from start to finish.”
Prices start from £679pp for an ocean view stateroom.
Country music is a popular subject for themed cruises. Marella Cruises had a “Country Rhythms” cruise last month that featured a Dolly Parton impersonator.
Norwegian Cruise Line and Celebrity Cruises have previously hosted country music cruises.
Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship Xcel also features the “Saddle Up Saloon”, where guests can take part in line dancing, country music, and dance lessons.
