If you’re hoping to visit LaplandUK in 2026, consider this your heads-up: tickets are about to drop and they won’t hang around for long.
Sales open Friday 27 March for both Ascot and Manchester, and if previous years are anything to go by, the release day will be comparable to trying to get hold of Glastonbury tickets. In fact, this year, more than 1 million people are expected to join the queue.
As a mum of two (aged four and six) who visited LaplandUK last year, I can honestly say the hype is justified. It was one of the most magical experiences we’ve ever had as a family, and not just for the kids. Even as a parent, it had me captivated.

When do LaplandUK 2026 tickets go on sale?

Expect high demand straightaway, with queue times moving quickly once sales go live.
The experience itself will run from 7 November to 24 December 2026, with ticket prices ranging from £60 to £195, depending on the date and time you choose.
What is LaplandUK (and is it worth it)?
If you’ve never been, LaplandUK is more than a festive day out. It’s a fully immersive Christmas experience from the minute you step into the waiting area.

It’s incredibly well thought out, with a strong focus on storytelling and interaction. From start to finish, it feels personal, detailed and genuinely special.
Having visited the attraction, I’d say it’s one of the few experiences that truly lives up to expectations, especially if your children are at that perfect age where the magic still feels real. That said, I found it just as enchanting as an adult, with more than one moment bringing a tear to my eye, so it’s definitely just as special for big kids, too.
It’s no secret that tickets are on the pricey side, but the best way I describe it to friends is to think of it as a four-hour theatre show – with impeccable attention to detail at every stage.

Returning guests may be wondering if there will be any changes to the lineup. The LaplandUK team have announced it’s leaning into a more immersive, story-led and slower-paced experience, designed to give families more time and memories together.
Here’s what’s changing:
A more magical start
Families will receive an upgraded invitation box earlier (by the end of summer), building excitement well before the festive season begins.
Reindeer stables experience
Children will make their own reindeer food with the elves and take it home for Christmas Eve.
More time with Mother Christmas
The kitchen experience has been extended, allowing for a more relaxed gingerbread-decorating session and story time afterwards.
An expanded Elven Village
There’ll be more time to explore the main village, including ice skating and letter writing, meaning fewer time restraints.
A more emotional finale
There will be a “portal” finale to bring guests back to the real world, creating a more cinematic ending.
New storytelling elements
A brand-new fables library and additional characters join the show, making the experience even more immersive.
