I've been raving about the good value TCL QLED TVs offer ever since I tested the QM7. With time, TCL has been pushing what consumers can get in the market even further. I covered the great deal on the more premium QM8L last week, and now the midrange version, the QM7L, is getting its turn in the deal spotlight. Right now, the 85-inch version is $1,697.99 (originally $2,499.99) after a 32% discount. That's the lowest this 2026 mini-LED TV has been, according to price tracking tools. Other sizes are also seeing great discounts right now.

As mentioned, the QM7L sits between the more budget QM6L and the more premium QM8L. It is available from 55 inches up to 98 inches. All sizes will have a different number of dimming zones: In this case, the 85-inch version has 1,624. Thanks to these dimming zones, the QM7L's contrast is strong. That helps black levels look deep and bold, even when scenes have bright areas (especially noticeable around subtitles).
This TV advertises a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, but reviews suggest it's actually higher, up to 3,500. Its glossy display could help lessen reflections from sunlight, but you'll notice rainbow smearing if you have a direct light in front of the TV. The biggest con of the QM7L, however, is the color accuracy. Reviews like this find the image will look warmer out of the box than intended, and the HDR content will have a blue tint, so people who want to experience colors as the creators intended might not like this. However, the TV can always be professionally calibrated.
The biggest selling point of the QM7L is the value for the price. Coming in at over $1,000 less than the QM8L for the 85-inch version, it makes a strong case for those who want a lot of the same premium features and specs without breaking the bank. If you're looking for a great deal on a midrange Mini-LED QLED from 2026, the QM7L is at a great price right now.
