Martin Lewis shares good news for easyJet customers waiting to book cheap flights
Tickets for summer 2027 are now on sale
Martin Lewis has issued an “urgent warning” to holidaymakers to book their easyJet journeys today for a chance to secure the cheapest flights for summer 2027.
According to a post by the Money Saving Expert founder on Monday: “Tomorrow morning, 28 July 2026, is an easyJet flight release day.
“EasyJet has a rather interesting system for pricing flights. It’s called ‘dynamic pricing', and it means that the price depends on demand. More demand, the more you pay.
“So the most predictable time to get cheap flights is exactly the moment it releases the flights because there’s minimum demand at that time because they weren’t available beforehand.”
He added that nearly 14 million seats are due to be released across 78,000 flights.
As of 9am on Tuesday, summer 2027 flights are now on sale for travel between 14 June 2027 and 26 September.
Package holidays with easyJet are also now on offer until October next year.
Lewis said: “I’m just saying if you want to try and bag a cheap flight for summer 2027, tomorrow morning is a crucial time to try.”
He added that previous customers have saved over £200 by getting in early on easyJet seat release days.
Other easyJet hacks from The Money Saving Expert include boosting your hand luggage allowance by using a carrier bag, checking in 30 days in advance for a better seat on your flight, and boarding earlier to ensure you and your luggage stay together.
EasyJet said: “Summer 2027 flights are now on sale, making it easier than ever to plan your next adventure for the summer holidays and beyond. Whether you’re keen to explore somewhere new or revisit a favourite destination, you can book with confidence.”
