First look at Seven Seas Prestige’s luxury cruise ship sports deck

A padel court and a putting green are among the main features of a sports deck that will be available on the new Seven Seas Prestige luxury cruise ship.

Regent Seven Seas is preparing to unveil its first new cruise ship class in a decade this December with the launch of Prestige and on board will be a dedicated sports area.

Designed in partnership with SMC Architects, the Solara Sports Deck will include a competition-sized padel and pickleball court and an expansive 18-hole putting green.

Many cruise ships have pickleball courts but Prestige will be one of a few that has a padel court. Others include Cunard’s Queen Anne.

The space on deck 14 will also have a sunrise and sunset yoga area and a digital gaming systems featuring side-by-side shuffleboard units.

There will also be an area for games of mini-bowling, chess, baggo and table tennis.

The Solara Sports Deck will be open all day, featuring tournaments and dedicated wellness classes.

The 822-capacity Seven Seas Prestige will make its maiden voyage from Barcelona to Miami on 13 December.

Features across the new ship include butler service, luxury lounges and a new Mediterranean mezze-style restaurant called Azure.

On board, guests can choose from 12 suite categories, including the £20,000-per-night, 9,000-square-foot Skyview Regent Suite.
